Roche Bobois is all ready to open its new store in Budapest in September, meaning that the company’s fantastic furniture will become available to buy in Hungary as well. The French firm presenting iconic furniture has had an outstanding year with amazing projects in abundance. Spaces designed by Roche Bobois continue to amaze at locations across the world.

Here are the three most recent venues where the wonders of Roche Bobois are accessible to visitors and audiences.

A former noble palace dating from the 15th century, the Palazzo Bianca Cappello is still a private residence today. A well-known address for Florentines, close to Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, it was built upon the request of François I de Medici for his second wife, Bianca Capello.

The current owners, the Roschi and Pelacani families, decided to turn a floor of this exclusive location into a boutique hotel. They entrusted Roche Bobois with the design and furnishing of all four suites. No suite is alike, each offering a unique atmosphere. Three different beds are featured as the focal design element of each suite – Hortense, Paris Paname and Backstage – complemented by bold contemporary  furniture pieces, such as the Astragale sideboard, the Evol cocktail table or the Bijou pedestal table, achieving a perfect balance between traditional and modern.

Located between Honfleur and Deauville, Les Jardins de Coppelia is a historic 17th century manor turned 4-star hotel. It features 27 rooms and suites, a gourmet restaurant and spa. The owners envisioned this location as an upscale, contemporary and family-friendly getaway. While the facade and exteriors of this superb hotel were preserved to maintain its original essence, they called on Roche Bobois to design and furnish the 27 rooms and several common areas.

Some of Roche Bobois’ most emblematic collections were selected to harmonise with the spirit of this location. The Mah Jong or Backstage beds, Quadrille armchair and Paris Paname desk for instance were chosen for the bedrooms. The restaurant is furnished with a custom-made Track dining table, Fenice and Queen chairs and a Profile sofa.  As for the spa, it includes the Traveler armchair and lounge chair, the Legend bookcase and Lady B armchair, which was revisited in black, white and green hues to harmonise with the colourway of this space.

This particularly ambitious project highlights Roche Bobois’ ability to extend its services to hospitality professionals, architects and interior designers.

For the fourth consecutive year, Roche Bobois had the honour to furnish the terraces of the Lounge Club in the port of Saint Tropez, overlooking the old port of this idyllic village on the French Riviéra.

This outdoor set-up features the Informel model dressed in turquoise blue and coral tones. Chairs from the Madame O outdoor collection and the Bow cocktail tables complete this made-to-measure design for the Capitainerie.
