For the Molteni & C Dada Living Box designed by Vincent Van Duysen, the design started from a typical architectural project: a building, a concert and conference stage or a monumental space – Vincent Van Duysen reduced its size and turned it into a household object with specific characteristics. Despite its reduced size, it retains its monumentality, the details of which are accentuated by quality materials.
The interior and exterior of the Living Box contrast with each other through the use of different materials. Marble and different woods are used on the top, which decorate the surface in a special way. The whole is enclosed in an iris and pewter frame, thread-like from above, but forming a thick profile around the interior from the front.
