Arany Kaviár is located at the foot of Buda Castle, near Széll Kálmán tér, and is Hungary’s longest-standing fine dining establishment. It opened its doors for business more than thirty years ago in 1990 in Ostrom utca, initially only using a fraction of the floorspace it has today. A few years later, Attila Molnár took over the operation of the former Vörös Kaviár Restaurant from his godparents. In 1997, he was joined by Szása Nyíri, whose presence in the kitchen made the Russian culinary direction even more authentic. The fruit of their mutual hard work and tireless passion is today’s Arany Kaviár Restaurant, considered to be one of the very best in the country. The work of interior designer Zita Varga, on the inside Arany Kaviár is at once lavish and imposing, and has recently undergone partial renovation.
We, at Solinfo Group, take pride in the fact that the technical and design lamps we supplied also contribute to the restaurant’s elegant, refined and well-balanced design.
