On the southern shore of Lake Balaton, our newest reference is a family holiday home with its own waterfront. The client was a young couple with two young daughters, who envisioned a clean and modern holiday home where the family could be together all summer long. The family holiday home is spread over two levels, with a pergola terrace and almost blends into the lake. With its own private beach, the beauty of the lake and waterfront was unmissable. The concept is thus echoed through the turquoise, blue and grey colours, the textures of wood and stone, the spherical light fixtures evoking water droplets and the wall panels reminiscent of the reeds along the shores of Lake Balaton.
The design was a pleasure , the client and designer worked in close harmony, which is visible. It was important to design a home office corner, to create the right amount of storage and to use the latest technology in terms of electronics and technical solutions.
Light has been central to the building, with large expanses of glass flooding the whole building is flooden with light. The interior lighting is provided by more subdued ceiling lights, complemented by spectacular spherical pendants to bring the waterfront even closer. In the interior spaces, accessories from iconic brands are displayed in an understated elegance, carefully selected by our experts as part of our home styling service. Pieces such as the Troll vases from Menuspace and the Flowerpot table lamp from &Tradition are both natural in material and appearance. Normann Copenhagen’s Shorebird birds embody the unity of the family, serving as charming decorations on their own, but in a group they can become a symbol of togetherness.
The team at Solinfo Group / Lighting Embassy was delighted to be involved in this exciting project, and we were able to raise the standard of the house with both our design and technical lamps, as well as our furniture and accessories.
