The owners, a couple in their 30s, have been living in this 55 m2, third floor flat of an eclectic downtown residential building for years. For the modernization and refurbishment of the apartment, the owners asked two interior designers from Spectra, Rebeka Sipos and Andrei Radulescu. Through their design and work, the apartment became cosier, more comfortable and more beautiful. The designers had four challenges ahead of them:
- re-designing and creating a special bathroom,
- creating a calm and comfortable home work environment for the owners,
- increasing storage space,
- and creating a suitable space for the pet of the owners.
The newly refurbished apartment has an impulsive first impression, thanks to the bold and diverse color choices for different rooms and areas. Where needed, purple and pink shades were used to establish a visual connection between spaces of differing functions. Furniture were custom made for maximum area utilization, and this, together with a diverse use of colors and exciting perspectives, the designers created a highly functional, beautiful and modern home.
