FELIX Kitchen&Bar is more than just a restaurant: it is a full-scale contemporary art space and an iconic meeting point in the heart of Buda. A restaurant with fabulous panoramic views and dazzling interiors, traditional yet modern, fuelled by a passion for high-quality gastronomy and art.
Named after Miklós Ybl’s only son, Félix, the building evokes a memorable past in the contemporary present. The heart of the pump house was the boiler room, which was formerly the exhibition space of the Ybl Buda Creative House. It has now been reborn under the name AQVA, transforming it into a community space that hosts gastronomy and contemporary art at the same time. The walls display works by contemporary artists, and the space has been complemented by a display kitchen and chef’s table, allowing guests to enter an environment that is unique in the country.
We are proud that our team contributed to the design of the interior lighting, with both design and technical lamps, which also guarantee an exclusive look. Our team also contributed to the exterior lighting of the iconic building.
