Gresham Palace is one of the masterpieces of Hungarian Secessionist architecture, commissioned to be built in 1906 by London-based Gresham Life Assurance Society and designed by Zsigmond Quittner. First functioning as headquarters for the company, the building later served as a luxury residence.

The building – now included among UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites – was fully renovated in 2004, and opened its doors to the public with 179 rooms as the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace.
As members of the Four Seasons Group, the hotel commenced renovation works three years ago, with several new functions also dreamt up for the lobby space. The reception area was relocated to a new location during the construction, and the hotel’s luxury cocktail bar Múzsa was assigned a spot in the right wing. The bar’s newly-constructed counter, the hand-crafted Art Nouveau mosaic floor and the podium stage all draw the eye. The new section also houses the Concierge Library, and hotel guests can even encounter a rotary evaporator in the wing.

We are extremely proud that Solinfo was able to be part of the completed renovation works. The building’s (indoor and outdoor) lighting becomes complete with Solinfo’s hidden and recessed design and technical lamps.
