Kiosk, just outside the busy party district of the Hungarian Capital, offers amazing meals, lunches and dinners to visitors. Kiosk is situated in a truly multi-functional space, in the old Piarist building at Március 15. Square in Budapest. Dining and recreation are equally important in Kiosk. The impressive ceiling height of the interior is one of the talking points of Kiosk, and the classicist details of the old building are in perfect harmony with the newer, minimalist design solutions. The interior represents the style of Kiosk’s owner, Hubert Hlatky-Schlichter. Fine details, subtle elegance in an old, ‘ruin’ environment. The designers aimed for recreating the familiar atmosphere of home dinners, where diners around the table take serve their portions from bowls at the centre of the table. The restaurant has a spacious terrace with an astonishing view of the Danube. Interior design solutions put emphasis on the combination of wood, metal and various other material, plus the meticulously chosen furniture pieces and accessories of Solinfo.
