The apartment is located in an old studio villa in one of Pasarét’s wild, ancient wooded gardens. The two-story layout, the openness, and transparency of the large spaces – from the giant wall of glass along the staircase to the bronze glass doors separating the bedroom and bathroom, which further enhance the sense of space, to the terrace bordered by old stone balustrades – further enhance the architectural heritage. Avoiding convention and current trends were paramount to the designer’s work, to create a truly unique home.
Along the lines of an eternal vision of design, furniture by renowned and beloved designers reflects the tastes of the past and present. Highlights include the unique Flos lamps by Michael Anastassiades and Vibia lamps with their sculptural look and varied lighting scheme, Pierro Lissoni’s dining table and Otto Wagner, Kozma Lajos, Arne Jacobsen, and Vitra Eames chairs, and the timeless beauty of Hella Jongerius’ deep blue sofa, all provided by our group of companies, the Solinfo Group.
