MádiLáncos Studio has been focused on the interior design of workplaces for close to 20 years. The Studio team has been growing organically and developing in recent years, with the office space less and less equipped to efficiently service their needs. At the beginning of 2019, the Studio decided to search for a more effective HQ. The suitable space and conditions were ultimately found on the top floor of the ZenGarden Office Building. In addition to the breath-taking view and own terrace, they now had a flexibly modifiable office space of 350m2 to design an open office with ABW (activity-based work) in mind. Most of the bulkheads were designed as glass walls in an effort to preserve the majestic view, guaranteeing that the panorama is visible from any point in the office, while also ensuring that staff members are easily visible to one another.
MádiLáncos Studio is committed to sustainable development, and this approach was a key aspect when designing their new office. The criteria of the LEED ID+C rating system were taken into account as basis, which served as a key determining factor in numerous design decisions in respect of layout, material selection, HVAC overhaul, choosing new luminaires and lighting control.
In the context of lighting design, we took the requirements of the LEED ID+C rating system into consideration, placing priority emphasis on high colour rendering, indirect lighting and lighting control.
Light-sensors installed over each workstation control lighting, reducing consumption and increasing lamp lifespan. Lighting can also be controlled individually, using wireless buttons or mobile apps.
We, at Solinfo Group, take pride in the fact that through the lamps supplied and the work of our lighting designers, we were able to contribute to making the vision dreamt up by MádiLáncos Studio a reality.
