The refurbishment works on Budapest Marriott Hotel started with revamping the restaurant with a capacity of 210, the hotel bar and function rooms, as well as the complete refurbishment of 363 guest rooms. The hotel’s style, furniture, layout and overall atmosphere was transformed to suit the needs of a new generation of travelers. The highlight of the revamped guest rooms is the elegant, Italian furniture and an open wardrobe, along with the sofa placed in front of the windows. Both the wardrobe and the sofa are guest favorites, the former for its functionality, the latter for the amazing view from the windows. The pastel shades of walls and curtains create perfect harmony with the vivid colors of the decoration items, all brought to life by sunlight coming in the rooms. The restaurant got a brand new design, following in the footsteps of the interior design solutions of the hotel: touches of Bauhaus and cubist art. All these create an infinitely homely feel in the social areas. Designers used antique brass, steel, granite, oak, white Carrara marble and leather for a welcoming atmosphere. However, the main design feature of DNB Budapest is the view of the Danube. The Budapest Marriott Hotel bar Liz and Chain has been refurbished as well and re-opened recently. These new design ideas and interior decoration works demanded technological innovations. Works went down according to schedule at a strict pace. Solinfo has been a part of this high-end refurbishment project, supporting innovative and functional design with its trademark professional lighting systems. We are also proud that we could contribute to the new design with our custom-made lamps and furniture, along with the light and furniture lines of a number of European manufacturers.
