NN Biztosító entered the Hungarian market in 1991 – as a greenfield operation – under the name Nationale-Nederlanden. By 1997, the company became the market leader in the Hungarian life insurance market and has held this position since. It has been serving customers as NN Biztosító since 1 April 2015. The company moved into new headquarters in 2020, and had a dual vision as far as the new office design was concerned. On the one hand, to do away with the former office environment oozing a rigid, austere elegance, creating a true working environment instead. On the other, to goal was to establish surroundings that support agile work in every respect. MádiLáncos Studio was commissioned to come up with the interior design solutions, and the client’s vision was realised in line with these objectives and principles in mind. The key organisational factor in terms of layout and office space was the canteen, whose position holds symbolic significance. The intense foot traffic arising from the canteen’s central location demanded that acoustically isolated traffic zones be created in the open office space.The various functions were organised into well-segregated zones, which were visually diluted using interior design tools and furniture. As far as the furnishing is concerned, in addition to the use of rounded shapes and forms, natural materials and bold colours, the placement of as many plants as possible was also a crucial aspect in the interest of creating a cosy ambiance. These were the guiding principles we took into account when selecting the luminaires.
We, at Solinfo Group, take pride in the fact that through the technical and design lamps supplied and the work of our lighting designers, we were able to contribute to making the vision dreamt up by MádiLáncos Studio a reality. The end-result truly reflects the company’s motto: YOU MATTER!
