Sharp has been inventing one-of-a-kind products and solutions that benefit society and business for more than 100 years. Its story began with the invention of an ever-sharp mechanical pencil (hence the name ‘Sharp’) and continued with a steady stream of innovative products. In 2019, the investors behind Spotify, Revolut and Zendesk also got on board to back the operation of Budapest-based Shapr3D. The Hungarian start-up is developing an application that allows users to quickly and simply create 3D spatial models without internet (on-the-go for example). Shapr3D is responsible for developing the world’s first professional 3D CAD modelling software to run on iPad Pro. The company is looking to open offices for product and sales support in Berlin, London and potentially in China. In addition, it is also planning to expand its current staff of 25 to 100.
For the new office, the client’s goal was to create a working environment supporting agile work in all regards. General contracting firm Miniplus was commissioned to create and implement the design. The use of natural materials and bold colours was also an important aspect for the designers.
We are extremely proud of this project, where the technical and design lamps supplied by Solinfo Group contributed greatly to the overall result.
