This unusually modern apartment building is located in a quiet, forested street on Svábhegy. It is a clean, minimalist, truly 21st-century building that blends in with its surroundings, not at all ostentatious, not at all trying to draw attention to itself. The site has a strong natural feel, with the rear front of the house offering a truly impressive view from the top.
It is clear from the outset that the designers did not intend the house to be just a showpiece, but that it is truly a family home. The harmonious atmosphere is certainly due in large part to the fact that the owner gave the designers a free hand. The unified, clean architectural concept is distinguished by the refined details.
The house as a whole is characterised by a noble, pure use of materials and a clean design, but the overall effect is never cool or boring. Special design lamps and recessed lighting fixtures in each room counterbalance the fact that the large glass surfaces create a darker, more oppressive effect at night than traditional walls and smaller windows.
The team at Solinfo Group / Lighting Embassy were delighted to be involved in this exciting and impressive project, we were able to raise the standard of the house further with both our design and technical lighting, as well as our furniture and accessories.
