The construction of the new office and laboratory complex of Thyssenkrupp’s E/E development centre in Budapest began in 2019, and MÁDILÁNCOS STUDIÓ and FITOUT Zrt. were assigned the task of creating a modern office complex that not only serves but also inspires employees to come up with new ideas and provides a space for creativity, where teams that are far apart in their organisation can connect with each other. Each office level has a themed work café near the entrance, giving each office area its own identity. There are alpine huts, beach surfer bungalows, forest camping, a library, a café with a desert oasis feel, while jungle cafés offer a place to chat and relax among real plants.
The site was taken over by FITOUT Zrt. in 2019 to implement the impressive interior design. A particular challenge during the project was that the high technical demands, laboratories and equipment required by Thyssenkrupp had to be set up in an existing and functioning office. In the world of hybrid working, Thyssenkrupp’s new office, with its exciting communal spaces, offers colleagues an attractive alternative to the home office.
We are proud that Solinfo Group has been involved in creating the exciting atmosphere of the office. In addition to lighting design, our group provided technical lighting, design lamps, furniture, accessories, and carpets for the project.
