VARIAN Offices are the offices for VARIAN Medical Systems Hungary Kft., a Hungarian sub-branch of VARIAN, an engineering business specializing in the development of radiotherapy equipment. The interior design followed a simple concept: creating open interiors through a sort of industrial design language that makes the connections of these inner spaces transparent and clear. Well-defined workspaces helped designers focus on funcionality: special video conference rooms, adjacent rooms grouped together, so on. To contrast the industrial and technical atmosphere a bit, suspended light system were installed for a wide range of possible lighting setups. Contemporary and top quality office furniture create a sophisticated work environment. The quality of the implemented design solutions, materials used, the spaces, lights and colors all result in an office that was a strong contender for the Office of the Year 2018 award.
