At the bottom of the narrowest building in Budapest, Tabán’s first easygoing brunch bistro, called Zileat, opened at the end of last summer. The owner, Zília Mocsári, used to work for a PR company previously, but has always wanted a place of her own. Wherever she traveled in the world, her first thing was to explore the area’s best brunch offerings and take note of everything. With the opening of Zileat Brunch & Bistro, her old dream came true. Zileat awaits its guests on the lower terrace of the narrowest building in Tabán – and in the whole of Budapest, with stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and Gellért Hill. The place is tiny but cozy. Guests can enjoy each other’s company while enjoying the magnificent sights at the same time. When the weather conditions are fitting, it is a genuine experience to eat and drink on the terrace, converse or just enjoy the scenery – a real dolce vita feeling.
