One of Budapest’s most impressive office developments, the well-located Arena Corner Office Building, with its intelligent building management system, was opened in 2007. It was built at the corner of Hungária körút and Kerepesi út, one of the busiest intersections in the city. The office building is home to a number of global companies, and the public spaces of the building were renovated in 2021 based on the interior design of MádiLáncos Studio. The renovation program is aimed at making tenants feel comfortable in the office building.
In addition to sustainable use of materials and building management, the interior design concept has become a place of recharging. The restaurant has been transformed to create an environment that not only serves the function of dining but also provides a space for recreation, deep work, and team building. Using elements drawn from nature and the space, atmospheres were created to suit the different functional units.
The concept of the lobby is based on connecting and blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces. The space is organised around an island of greenery, which is reflected in both the exterior and the interior.
Our team contributed to the project with the lighting design and provided both design and technical luminaires, as well as furniture for the restaurant.
