In our next reference we would like to present a holiday home on Lake Balaton. The monolithic limestone-covered foundation supports a light steel structure and is located on a limestone cliff on the shore of Lake Balaton. The house has been designed as a simple, “natural” retreat, emphasising its stunning surroundings and views of Lake Balaton. The base has the appearance of a natural part of the rock. The interior features four bedrooms on the ground floor, a stone terrace with a pool above the basement garage. A light steel “pavilion” is located on the upper level, housing the master bedroom and living room, dining room and kitchen. The west side of the pavilion has full height glazing with sliding doors connecting the master bedroom and living area to a raised porch overlooking the pool. The lighter upper deck’s steel structure features anodized aluminum panels that provide a slight reflection, helping the building blend into the surrounding trees and skyline.
We are proud to have contributed to the natural feel of the house with lamps, furniture and accessories.
