On the shores of a fishpond, far from the bustling city, lies this Scandinavian-style family home, whose out-of-the-ordinary interior design was inspired by the panorama which can be enjoyed from the pool and from practically all other points of the house thanks to the omnipresent glass surfaces.
The family home, with its own private lakeside and a garden completely secluded from the outside world, lies in one of the wild and romantic areas of Győr just like a modern palace. The garden surrounding the building has numerous points of interest, from the paved walkways leading between flower-beds and kitchen gardens, through the pool and playground all the way to the sun terrace.
The lake itself served as one of the starting points for the design process. The designers strived to integrate the mesmerising view into living areas in all seasons, which is why most community and living spaces are oriented towards the water. Function and visuality went hand in hand in the lighting design process as well: spotlights built into the unique black ceiling rails illuminate the corridors, while the suspended pendants – with styles varying from room to room – are also assigned a space-filling role.
The lights and lighting were assigned a key role in the house. We are proud to have been able to contribute to creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere with our lamps.
