We present a truly unique eclectic apartment in the neighbourhood of the castle. One of the main strengths of the apartment is the design of the entrance hall. Entering the property, you are not greeted by a narrow space, but by a generous, elegant foyer, which opens onto the bedroom and a spacious single living space. This is a feature that the client fell in love with and was later reinforced in the design. During the design of the apartment, it was also important to maintain the intimacy of the bedroom and to keep it separate, yet still connect all the rooms in a coherent, grand series of spaces. By integrating the living-dining-kitchen spaces into one, a room has been created that can comfortably accommodate large groups of people, while at the same time, certain corners are functionally positioned to house special desgin objects such as the Miniforms Soda coffee table. In the spacious one-bedroom apartment a laundry room and a large walk-in closet has been installed, as well as a bathroom, which is directly accessible from the bedroom. The furniture is reminiscent of the client’s years in New York, with a wealth of artwork to evoke the period. The spaces feature furniture and objects that can themselves be interpreted as works of art, such as the Roche Bobois Bubble sofa. Its style blends modern and Japanese style with a New York and Budapest downtown eclecticism, creating an exciting, homely atmosphere.
The Solinfo Group team contributed with designer lamps, furniture and accessories to create the interior of this truly unique apartment.
