One of the highlights of the completely re-imagined Vörösmarty Square at the heart of Budapest is Marty’s Kitchen & Bar, where French pastries and cakes, incredible desserts, an all-day menu and tapas in the evenings welcome guest in an elegant, modern environment.
Everything in the interior design of Marty’s is custom made, even the stunning roundtables with the synthetic resin tabletops. Their light pink pattern resembles the milk foam on a beautiful cappuccino.
Marty’s Kitchen & Bar was founded by Eszter Horváth and Gergő Lábady, owners of Sugar! design bakery. The interior design plans, dreamt up by Ákos Bara interior designer, were highly influenced by all the pre-existing qualities and aspects of the interior space. Through his work and the collaboration with the owners, Marty’s has become a uniquely modern place that, while staying contemporary, successfully evokes the design legacy of the 1960s and ‘70s.
Solinfo contributed happily to this extraordinary atmosphere at Marty’s with its selection of design lamps and technical lights.
