Scruton Allee, located within the Libri bookstore, is more than just a café – it is a thought-provoking community space inspired by the spirit of British philosopher and writer Sir Roger Scruton. He passionately believed that shared thinking, the pursuit of beauty, and the cultivation of culture have the power to bring people together – values that are deeply embedded in the atmosphere of the café.
The interior is defined by a warm and inviting palette, evoking a sense of home. Both the walls and the herringbone parquet flooring are rendered in terracotta tones, with visual and textural harmony achieved using materials by Kerakoll. The walls were first treated with an indoor decorative texturing plaster, followed by a washable Kerakoll paint (KK113) for the final finish. The parquet flooring was coated with Kerakoll Microresina Parquet resin in a matching shade, creating a seamless aesthetic between vertical and horizontal surfaces.
We are proud to have contributed to the distinctive, value-driven atmosphere of Scruton Allee through the parquet installation and the creation of its unique indoor surfaces.
