This year saw the ninth edition of the Office of the Year competition, organised annually since 2010 by the iroda.hu group. Their goal is to support and recognise businesses and market players that create durable and permanent values to follow in the domestic market. Over the years, from being an interior design contest the competition matured into becoming a key tool of employer brand-building, with their awards viewed as coveted accolades in the industry.
It gives us great pleasure and pride to see that we are involved with the projects nominated this year in no less than 18 cases, by way of the technical and design lighting, design furniture and lighting design solutions delivered by us.
Office of the Year Grand Prize Winner – ION-Dealogic Planet
When designing the new Budapest office of US-based software developer company ION-Dealogic Planet delivered this year, the keywords in mind were dynamism, flexibility, progress and connection. Connection in time and space, physically and virtually, locally and globally, with these dimensions becoming one on the 5th floor of the Eiffel Square Office Building, realised by joining two wings on a total of 1,400 m². In addition to winning the Office of the Year Grand Prize, the ION-Dealogic office was also given the Office of the Year Evolution Prize.

Péter Tarjányi, one of our firm’s project managers on the lighting design side, contributed to the project’s success, and in addition we also delivered technical and design lighting solutions to the winning office.
