There is no better feeling in the summer heat than relaxing outside, a cold drink in hand and eyes closed, while the rays of the sun gently caress your skin. This is the time of the year when we focus on sunbeds and deckchairs – you wouldn’t believe how many styles and configurations there are available. In an attempt to narrow down the selection, the experts at Solinfo have compiled a few to help you find that perfect piece.

Mesh – Kettal

The pieces of the Mesh collection – designed by Spanish architect-designer Patricia Urquiola – filter light and air flow not unlike the facade of a building. Industrial and natural materials, hard and soft surfaces are juxtaposed to create this family of outdoor furniture, also including this splendid two-person deckchair.

Molo – Kettal

The Molo Collection designed by Rodolfo Dordoni is the perfect example of modular furniture: each module can be taken apart and re-organised, creating new uses and configurations. The collection includes the Molo sunbed, whose intentionally oversized parameters are compensated for by aesthetically minimalistic design.

Bitta – Kettal

The Bitta collection is characterised by a combination of aluminium frames, seats of braided polyester and comfortable cushions. On account of the materials used and its neutral colours, the Bitta deckchair seems at once lightweight but still inviting.

Landscape – Kettal

When designing the Landscape collection, Kettal’s objective was for the products to relate to and meld with their environment. This rationalist construction is also apparent in the Landscape outdoor lounger.

Park Life – Kettal

The pieces of the Park Life collection were designed by Jasper Morrison, also including this sunlounger that is lightweight, yet extremely durable, and is easily stacked for transport or winter storage. Its structure and visual appearance were both designed for long-term use.

Meteo – Kettal

Part of the Objects collection, the Meteo Daybed is the perfect outdoor furniture, filling its environment with life.

Kos – Tribù

The combination of the broad slats and the pure, but powerful design, the Kos lounger reinvents teak in a modern, robust way. The lounger is adjustable into 5 different positions, and mobility is facilitated by wheels.

Tosca – Tribù

The Tosca outdoor collection designed by Monica Armani is at once warm and inviting, stylish and intriguing. Femininity and emotion were key words in designing this lounger. The materials used ensure a natural and organic appearance, while the cushions guarantee a high level of comfort.

Livit – Expormim

The Livit daybed has a frame structure made of high resistance aluminium, and ensures extensive customisation through a wide variety of fabrics available. You can create the perfect piece aligned with your own exterior.

InOut 859 – Gervasoni

The outdoor sunbed designed by Paola Navone is available with either a right or left armrest. It is available with matt white, grey or sage lacquered aluminium tubular frame, woven with blue, black or grey elastic belts.

Essenza – Ethimo

The Ethimo teak sunbed is truly simple, yet still playful in appearance. The backrest raises from the base and is adjustable in four positions.

Round – emu

Round is a collection defined by its search for structural balance and soft lines. This sunbed is marked by clean, basic and fundamentally rounded shapes, to provide utmost comfort.

Vetta – emu

The steel frame of the Vetta deckchair is complemented by ropes – on the one hand lending a stylish appearance and, on the other, facilitating opening and folding. The backrest can be set for two different positions.

Bistro – Fermob

To celebrate 120 years of the legendary Bistro chair, Fermob has now recreated it in the form of an ultra-comfortable chaise longue. The new version retains the same practical simplicity, compactness, ease of handling and timeless look, with 24 bright vibrant colours available.

Nolita – Pedrali

The Nolita family of outdoor sitting furniture recalls the metal garden chairs first designed by Mario Pedrali in 1963. Simply and iconic forms, vibrant colours, an exterior full of life.
