TeaHome introduces a new form and aesthetic to the act of
tea consumption. From a distinctly contemporary perspective, it moves beyond
the traditional character of tea houses, responding to ongoing cultural shifts
with a refined spatial narrative. The concept is inspired by the transparent
construction of furnishings, a respect for existing objects, and the artistic
transformation of seemingly straightforward fabrication into expressive design.
A key challenge was the coordination of lighting across the
different functional zones of the space. The visual emphasis of the counter
within the large kitchen area was achieved through the Vibia Circus lighting
system. Its spotlights provide focused illumination for the glass surfaces,
while reflective elements—when addressed by directed light—cast a soft,
indirect glow that gently disperses throughout the space.
In the main guest area, the delicate drapery captures a
sense of floating light, enhanced by a symbiosis of special lighting effects
and the sounds of natural phenomena. This contemporary auditory and visual
layer functions not merely as an atmospheric backdrop, but as an active
component of the space itself.
We are proud that the Solinfo Group was responsible for the
installation of the luminaires, while the Solinfo Technology division, through
its smart audiovisual system, enabled the integration of natural phenomena in
both sound and light within the teahouse environment.
