Art de Vivre

Roche Bobois embodies the essence of French Art de Vivre — a unique approach to style that balances elegance with eclectic influences. Drawing from French culture’s richness in gastronomy, fashion, and decorative arts, Roche Bobois brings a timeless yet bold aesthetic that embraces freedom, creativity, and artisanal craftsmanship. From luxurious sofas to contemporary accent pieces, each Roche Bobois collection brings a distinctively French vision to interior design.

Roche Bobois’ Collections

Roche Bobois' collections embody two different, but complementary worlds; Les Contemporains collection reflects current trends and modern creativity while Les Nouveaux Classiques collection boldly reinvents traditional furniture and adapts it to today's style. Both collections represent the French Art de Vivre, and combine original designs, high-quality materials and unique know-how.

Iconic Designs

Roche Bobois is renowned for its iconic furniture pieces, which redefine design and functionality.

The Bubble Chair and Sofa

The Bubble, an iconic piece in Roche Bobois' collection, achieves a seamless balance of design, innovation, functionality, and emotion. Created by Sacha Lakic, a designer known for his affinity with cutting-edge technology, the Bubble evokes the inviting image of a balloon-filled basket. It practically begs you to dive into its cozy embrace! With its taut, rounded form and entirely handcrafted construction, the Bubble is available in various colors with an optional matching ottoman. Its design required the creation of a unique fabric, notable for its distinctive ability to stretch in three directions.

The Mah Jong

Designed in 1971, the Mah Jong sofa epitomizes freedom in both form and function. Built from three modular elements that can be stacked or combined, the Mah Jong offers endless arrangement possibilities — from armchair and sofa to lounge or bed — creating a space for relaxing, playing, or lounging. It embodies a spirit of experimentation that broke with formal design norms, capturing the nonconformist vibe of the era. Avant-garde at its inception and iconic today, the Mah Jong is dressed by Missoni Home and Jean Paul Gaultier, standing as the ultimate symbol of modular and creative design.
