Mynt plywood seat and backrest

The universal chair Mynt by Erwan Bouroullec combines the appealing home-like aesthetic of a studio chair with a completely new dynamic sitting experience. The core element is its patented mechanism, which is activated by body weight and tilts forwards or backwards depending on shifts in the sitter's position – with the seat moving independently of the backrest. The movement resistance automatically adapts to the user's weight – only the height has to be adjusted.

This version comes without upholstery, backrest and seat are made of natural oak, and the base is a four-star frame crafted from powder-coated aluminum. The surface has a soft, light finish, giving the chair an elegant appearance. The frame and mechanism are finished with a soft light tone, and the chair is equipped with felt glides suitable for hard floors.
