At Home With Tamara Cserháti
For food blogger Tamara Cserháti, home is much more than a physical place. It is a feeling of comfort, safety and calm, deeply connected to nature. In her family home on the edge of the forest, indoor and outdoor living blend seamlessly, and during the warmer months, life naturally extends onto the terrace.
The Solinfo Home Styling team reimagined this vibrant outdoor space using a curated selection of Roche Bobois outdoor pieces, complemented by carefully chosen Home of Solinfo accessories. Decorative accents in soft mint, turquoise and natural beige tones, organic-shaped serving pieces and ambient lighting subtly echoed the colours of the furniture while bringing the space even closer to Tamara's lifestyle and its natural surroundings.
Rather than creating a dramatic transformation, the goal was to create an environment that reflects the family's everyday life while maintaining a harmonious connection with the landscape around it.
What does home mean to you?
To me, home means safety above all else. It's the place I look forward to returning to every day, where I can relax and spend time with my family.
It's also important to me that when my children come home, there is always a freshly prepared, warm meal waiting for them. I think home often reveals itself through these small gestures – taking care of the people we love and gathering around the table together.
We also love living so close to nature. There is something special about stepping outside and immediately finding yourself surrounded by trees and greenery. I've always tried to reflect that connection in our home, allowing natural colours and a calm, understated atmosphere to take centre stage.

Your terrace seems to play a central role in your everyday life. Can you tell us more about it?
As soon as the weather improves, we practically move outside. Thanks to the large sliding doors, the house and the terrace become one continuous living space.
We have breakfast, lunch and dinner outdoors. There's an outdoor kitchen, a barbecue area and a wood-fired oven that we use almost every weekend. Food simply tastes different when it's cooked over a real fire.
During the week, life is usually quieter and centred around the children and spending time together as a family. Weekends, however, are often filled with friends and relatives gathering here together.

Which part of your home feels closest to your heart?
It's difficult to choose just one place. There are two spaces that are especially important to me and where I spend most of my time.
The first is the kitchen. As a food blogger, it's where I film my recipe videos and where much of my day takes place.
The second is definitely the terrace. Since the styling project, it has become an even more inviting place where we genuinely enjoy spending time together.
Which piece became your favourite on the newly styled terrace?
It's hard to pick just one, but I would probably choose the Catalina dining table. This is where we have breakfast with the children, where we share dinner in the evenings and where many of our most meaningful conversations happen. Since meals play such an important role in our lives, it has naturally become the heart of the terrace.
I also love the Mah Jong sofa. After spending time in the pool, it's where we relax, and in the evenings my husband and I often sit there together with a glass of wine and talk.
And then there's the Temps Calme sunbed, which has become my own little retreat. It's where I read, sunbathe or simply answer emails when I want a quiet moment to myself.

At first, the colourful furniture felt quite different from your usual style. What changed?
To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first.
I worried that the colours might feel too bold or too striking compared to the more understated atmosphere we had created throughout the house.
But once everything was in place, my perspective completely changed. I was surprised by how naturally the colours blended into the surroundings. Instead of overpowering the terrace, they brought it to life.
Now it feels genuinely uplifting to step outside. The entire space feels more vibrant and full of energy.

As a food blogger, what role do colours play in your life?
A very important one.
During spring and summer, I work with so many fresh ingredients: herbs, citrus fruits, vegetables and seasonal produce. The vibrant greens of mint, coriander and parsley, the bright yellows and oranges of citrus fruits, or the deep purple tones of aubergine all appear regularly in my cooking.
That's why it was such a special experience to see those same colours reflected not only in the Roche Bobois pieces selected for the terrace, but also in the Home of Solinfo accessories chosen for the styling. The soft mint, turquoise and natural beige tones, together with the organic shapes of the serving pieces and decorative objects, all feel closely connected to the world that inspires me in the kitchen.
When I look at a beautifully set table now, the food, the furniture and the accessories all seem to tell the same story.
Perhaps that's why this palette feels so natural to me — I'm surrounded by the same colours that inspire me every day in the kitchen.

What was it like working with the Solinfo Home Styling team?
Surprisingly easy.
I'm not someone who spends hours planning interiors or arrives with a very detailed vision. I enjoy collecting inspiration images, but I certainly don't consider myself an expert.
That's why I was especially impressed by how quickly the team understood what suited us. We spoke for about half an hour, and then they arrived and transformed the terrace within just a few hours. It wasn't only the Roche Bobois furniture that found its place, but also the Home of Solinfo accessories, which ultimately brought the space to life and made it feel truly personal.

What surprised you most about the final result?
Perhaps discovering how much we enjoyed stepping outside our comfort zone.
I never would have imagined that I would feel so at home surrounded by such colourful, vibrant pieces. Yet now, every time I step onto the terrace, it makes me smile.
The space is not only more beautiful, but also more lively and full of positive energy. To me, that's what truly turns a house into a home.
